コロナウィルス(COVID-19)の影響がバスマスターエリートシリーズ、MLFそしてFLWにも影響！

コロナウィルス(COVID-19)ですが、世界中で猛威を振るっています。

釣りなら感染しねーだろ！というのはあるかもしれませんが、集客という点では釣りのイベントもアメリカでは同じく制限がかかってきているようです。

バスマスターエリート第2戦(3/19-22)＠チッカマウガレイク戦は延期に

コロナウィルスの影響がついにアメリカのトーナメントまで波及してきました。

先ずは、3月13日金曜日の発表でバスマスターエリートシリーズの第2戦＠チッカマウガレイク戦が延期となりました。

The decision comes after the number of Tennesseans infected with the coronavirus doubled to 18, and Gov. Bill Lee declared a state of emergency on Thursday. The CDC has also recommended that those at higher risk for contracting the disease or those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 should avoid crowds and events to help prevent the spread of the virus. This has prompted other outdoor sports, including NASCAR, MLB and the PGA, to postpone or cancel events.

どうやら、チッカマウガレイクのあるテネシー州デイトンでは、コロナウィルスの感染者数が2倍の18人になり、CDC(米国疾病予防管理センター)がウィルスの拡散を防ぐために人込みやイベントの開催を避けるようにと推奨。

伊藤巧プロがビザの為に頑張って帰国し渡米していましたが、これはこれで仕方ないでしょうね。。

来週末にBassmaster Elite Series 第2戦がChickamauga Lakeで開催予定となっておりましたが、コロナウイルスの影響により、延期となりました。

第2戦に向けての準備中にこの一報を受けた伊藤巧は、大会がいつ開催されてもいいように準備を続けております。

メジャーリーグフィッシング(MLF)やFLWでも影響が！

MLFやFLWでもコロナウィルスの影響により公共の場での集まりが中止となりました。この措置は4月12日まで続くようです。

「バス釣り」自体は良いのでしょうが、人が集まるイベントについてはやはり感染のリスクが高まるので、中止にせざるをえないのでしょう。

これはもう残念では仕方ありませんが、多くの人の健康にかかわるので仕方ないことだと思います。

Due to the nature of competitive bass fishing, the league will continue to host tournaments for participating anglers. Decisions regarding future events will be made in the coming weeks as the league monitors the situation with COVID-19 under the guidance of medical and public health professionals.

バストーナメントは自然の中での競技の為、MLFバスプロツアーやFLWについても競技の継続はするようです。一応トーナメンターも沢山その場に集まるのですがねｗｗ

4月12日以降の将来のイベントについては、この先数週間の医療機関の指示の下決めていくようです。

Public appearances of the MLF pros associated with Stages Three and Four of the Bass Pro Tour will not take place. Fans are encouraged to remain home and watch their favorite anglers on MLF NOW! rather than gathering in person.

明確に、MLFのバスプロツアー第3戦と4戦は、ファン向けのプロの登場は行われないとなっています。自宅待機してMLF NOW！を見ろと(笑)

MLFとFLWからの推奨

以下のような対策を推奨しますとしています。3つ目にあるようにやはり手洗いは重要なので、頻繁に石鹸で洗えと書いてあります。

MLF and FLW recommends that everyone follow the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on everyday prevention of viral infection, which include:
＊Stay home when sick or living with a sick person
＊Cover the nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing
＊Wash hands often with soap and water
＊Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces and objects
＊Limit face-to-face contact
＊Consult a healthcare provider as needed

さあ、米国トーナメントにもコロナウィルスの影響が徐々に表れてきています。
